Hello, I am Daniel Chaplin, a Customer Assistant at Vue.

I created this website in 2018 as a way to showcase my projects, employment, education and to make contact with other like-minded people. I am open to employment oppertunities that can enable me to grow and offer a full-time contract. I am a enthusiastic HNC graduate with previous experience in the social care, customer service and IT sectors. Now looking towards a career that can incorporate all my skills and provide the best possible service to customers. A punctual and motivated individual that is able to work in a busy environment and equally able to work using my own initiate, independently. Excellent team player with the ability to take instructions from all levels and build up good working relationships. Maintained the cleanliness of screens to ensure customers enjoy their big screen experience whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines and efficiently completing the workload in a timely manner to meet targets.

Proactively served a diverse range of customers tickets, food and drink. Meeting targets to upsell and work towards the company incentives to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

Remained calm and attentive even under pressure by continuing my duties of serving tickets, food and drink to customers, dealing with payments and general cleanliness of the cinema and ensuring that customers were always happy and had the service they would expect.

Took responsibility to be a leader although I was a sales assistant which resulted in using my initiative to delegate jobs to others to create an efficient working environment so stock was replenished quickly saving time and money for the company.

Took part in the planning and partaking of the company bike ride to raise money for RMHC. Arranged raffle and in-store activity day by creating posters and running events to raise money which turned out to be a huge success raising over £500 from my store.
